Teams
The presidents
The presidents of this year's EVE are Oliver Knoll, Elina Weidemann and Tom Düwel former students of Weber-School. All of them are familiar faces at the EVE in Eutin: For Oliver, it is the third time to lead the session as president and for Elina it is the second time as president. For Tom, it is the first time to lead the session. He was a chairperson in 2024 and 2025.
Chairpersons
The chair-team consists of 15 persons, seven of them are current students of Weber-School, just a few weeks away from their final exams, and the other chairpersons have returned after gratuating from Weber-School.
Finally, there are our special guests from Italy and France who participated as delegates or as chairperson the years ago.
International Teachers
These teachers from Italy, Romania and Sweden accompany the student delegation of their school on their journey to the EVE in Eutin.

Like every year the Hospitality Team is responsible for delicious food and drinks. They prepare and serve with much effort and love. This team also organises the social activities between the committee work phases, in which the delegates can collect points for their committee in the EVE House Cup.
Weber Teachers
Great thanks to the teacher team from Weber-School for putting so much effort into this weekend! Without their work, the whole session would not be possible!
"I’m also in a way proud or very happy about the efforts of the Hospitality Team this year in organising so many challenges […]"
Philipp Loose (Head Organiser)
AFCO
The committee on constitutional affairs deals with the need to reform the European Union to make it more democratic and efficient in response to global challenges. They work on treaty reforms and institutional proposals. Key
proposals include giving the European Parliament the legislative initiative, reforming the veto system as well as EU-wide direct citizen voting and transnational lists.
AFET
The committee on foreign affairs works on possible suggestions to answer questions such as: Should AFET adopt “transactional“ foreign policy, trading values for resources to survive in a hostile 2026 world? Is the EU willing to surrender its historic power in global institutions to prevent the Global South from abandoning the West entirely?
CULT
The committee of culture and education focuses on important topics this year such as information, media policy and youth policies. Some of the questions they are working on are: How is the EU supposed to counteract the rise of misinformation and manipulation on social media? How can the EU approach educating our youth in media literacy while protecting them?
ECON
This committee on economic and monetary affairs works on the issue of ensuring the financial stability and economic resilience of the European Union to answer the following questions: How can the EU reinforce the stability of the euro to strengthen its global position and protect its financial independence? What fiscal and taxation policies should be adopted to enhance economic resilience, ensuring fair and sustainable revenue collection across member states?
ITRE
The committee on industry, research and energy deals with policy within the European Union and enhancing Europe's attractiveness as an industrial location. Additionally, it analyses the most important legislative frameworks of the EU, including the Green Deal, the EU Energy Union and strategies for achieving climate neutrality.
SEDE
The committee on security and defense deals with the changes in Europe, such as the war in Ukraine or the controversial security guarantee following the change of leadership in the USA. Among others they are working on the question if the European Union will step up as a geopolitical actor that is capable of defending its sovereignty and values or remain dependent on external powers in an increasingly unstable world.
